I'm having trouble syncing my Fitbit with PeopleOne Health; what can I do?
Below are some Fitbit troubleshooting tips:
If your Fitbit stops syncing steps and/or minutes with PeopleOne Health, you can re-authorize the connection by doing the following:
Click on your name/person icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
A menu of options will open up.
Click on the “Devices” link.
You’ll now be on your “Connect Devices” page.
Click on the “Re-Authorize” link under the Fitbit Trackers section. (You may be prompted to sign into your Fitbit account again.)
Your Fitbit account is now re-authorized and will be able to sync your data.
Note: You can only re-authorize the Fitbit connection through the PeopleOne Health website.
If you are in a challenge and you connect a Fitbit after the challenge has started, Fitbit does not allow PeopleOne Health to pull your steps or minutes prior to the connection time.
Ex: If a challenge started yesterday and you connect your Fitbit today at noon, PeopleOne Health will only show Fitbit steps and minutes from noon today and in the future, so you will need to manually enter your data for previous dates.
