Others sign up for a marathon to ensure they hit their training even on the days it feels hard. Here at PeopleOne Health, we're introducing a powerful new way to motivate you to prioritize your wellness every single day (especially on the days that feel hard).
SparkPoints is a fun way to track daily habits and goals while maintaining momentum to continue down the path to success. Working toward meaningful goals requires determination, grit and a lot of patience. Originally built for a platform used by more than 25 million people, our goal-setting experts designed SparkPoints for PeopleOne Health because we understand that, in order to achieve big goals and change behaviors, people need to focus most on small, daily action steps. With SparkPoints, we want to educate people on the power of consistent habits and reward them for setting and reaching one small goal at a time. Each point is tied to the most effective actions behavior change experts recommend for lifelong health--including learning about important health and fitness topics, taking action on one small goal at a time, tracking goal progress, as well as both receiving and giving support in a community setting--while encouraging people to constantly seek out more health education and understanding.
When signed into the portal, members can find SparkPoints under their "Tools & Trackers" tab. Members are encouraged to earn 20 SparkPoints each day, and there are a number of ways to get points on the board. For the weight-loss warrior, tracking 10 or more minutes of fitness, checking in with SparkCoach or tracking food will all earn points. For those looking for inspiration or more insight into lifelong health habits, reading an article, making a new recipe, or completing a SparkUniversity course or a daily task may be the ticket to more points. Members can also interact with the community or spin the SparkPoints wheels for a chance to add even more points! Plus, to encourage consistency, a sign-in wheel is available to spin every day to help keep wellness habits top of mind. New tasks will be added over time to continue inspiring, challenging and educating members, and for every 20 or more points earned, members get to spin a bonus wheel to earn even more points!
Along the way, you'll unlock virtual trophies designed to recognize your milestones while reigniting your drive to both seek out challenges and maintain daily health habits. Our hope is that with every trophy earned, members will see a visual reminder that great success is the result of setting, sticking to and reaching many small goals. As the SparkPoints and the trophies start adding up, you'll have fun while improving your health and building up confidence to take on any challenge!
