Sweet Bacon-Wrapped Chicken
Introduction
Chicken seasoned to add a little kick and wrapped in bacon then covered in sugar...SAVORY!
Ingredients
2lbs of chicken breasts cut into equal size strips for a total of 20 strips approximately 2oz in weight
20 slices of Oscar Mayer Low Sodium Bacon uncooked
2Tbsp Garlic Powder
2Tbsp Chili Powder
1/2cup Organic Light Brown Sugar
20 slices of Oscar Mayer Low Sodium Bacon uncooked
2Tbsp Garlic Powder
2Tbsp Chili Powder
1/2cup Organic Light Brown Sugar
Directions
Mix your Garlic Powder and Chili Powder (and salt and pepper if you like). Season each strip with the combined seasoning.
Wrap one piece of bacon around each chicken strip.
Roll bacon wrapped chicken in brown sugar.
Place bacon wrapped chicken strips in oven proof dish coated in nonstick cooking spray.
Bake @ 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes. (Can also be cooked as directed on a BBQ but be careful of bacon drippings if cooked directly on the grill)
Serving Size: 10 servings/2 pieces per serving
