Introduction

This caffeine-free iced tea has less sugar and other nonsense than the store-bought brands.

Ingredients

4-5 bags of herbal tea (I like the fruit-flavoured ones)
4 cups boiling water
8 teaspoons sugar (or to taste)
1/8 cup lemon juice
several sprigs of fresh mint
5-6 cups cold water

Directions

Place tea bags, sugar and mint in a tea pot. Pour boiling water over all and allow to steep for 15 minutes or more depending on the type of tea and how strong you want it to be.
Pour this into a pitcher with enough cold water without diluting the concoction too much (cold water first if you are worried your pitcher might crack). Now sit and relax in a nice comfortable chair outside in the sun or shade and enjoy!
