Introduction

Creamy slaw pairs well with fried chicken, but who needs all that mayo? This one uses Greek yogurt and a healthier mayo, plus a few other secret ingredients.

Ingredients

Dressing:
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons olive or canola oil mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoons fat-free Greek yogurt
Dash teaspoon hot sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice

1/2 (12 ounce) bag rainbow slaw*
1 Granny Smith apple, sliced into matchsticks or grated with a box grater

* This variety had broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and cabbage.

Directions

Whisk together all the dressing ingredients in a large bowl, then toss with the slaw and apples. Serve immediately or refrigerate.

Serving Size: Makes 4 servings, 1/2 cup per serving.
