Introduction

This simple cheese ball is a touchdown! Everyone will love it at your next football game party.

Ingredients

1 tbsp dried parsley
2 tsp dried chives
1 tsp garlic powder
1⁄2 tsp dry mustard
1⁄4 tsp dill
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 packages (8 ounces) reduced-fat cream cheese
1 1/2 cups reduced-fat shredded Cheddar cheese
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1 roasted red pepper, sliced into strips

Directions

Combine all herbs and spices in a large bowl.
Mix in the cream cheese, then gently fold in the bacon and Cheddar cheese.
Shape into two footballs, then gently roll in the almonds.
Arrange the strips of roasted red pepper on the cheese balls to resemble laces on a football. Trim them if necessary.
Refrigerate for an hour.
Serve with whole-wheat cracker or vegetables.
