Introduction

This easy apple pie recipe is low in fat and boasts no added sugar!

Ingredients

9-inch pie plate

9-oz box of Jiffy Pie Crust Mix
5 medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced
Cinnamon to taste
Nutmeg to taste
Splenda sweetener to taste
Corn starch to thicken

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Mix Jiffy pie crust per directions on box to make two crusts.

Put one crust into a 9-inch pie plate

Place one layer of apples on crust, then sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, Splenda, and corn starch. Repeat with additional layers of apples and sweetener/seasoning until pan is full.

Gently lay second pie crust on top and seal edges. Cut small slits in top crust to vent. Sprinkle top with cinnamon, nutmeg and Splenda.

Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes then reduce temperature to 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
