Introduction

Are you looking for a quick, easy, and zero calorie gifts from the kitchen idea for the holidays? This one is my all-time favorite.

Ingredients

2 cinnamon sticks
1 tablespoon whole allspice
1 tablespoon whole cloves
Cheesecloth or thin cloth
Kitchen string

Optional additions:
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon dried lavender
1 teaspoon dried rosemary


Directions

Use this to impart a pleasant fragrance to your home, or place in a drawer.

Combine all ingredients into the cheesecloth or material, tie closed with string.

To simmer: Place sachet into a small saucepan with one pint of water, bring to a boil then reduce to a low simmer. Add additional water if the water level becomes low.
